May Brings... Elephants, Flower Baskets and Art!
Share
Spring is here in all of it's northwest glory and chaos! Our summer events list is officially complete and we're looking forward to some of our favorite shows. But first, we'll be hanging out with some old friends for two intimate pop-up events.
West Seattle Art Walk, Thursday, May 9th from 5-8 pm.
We'll hosted at NOR Design & Construction (5953 California Ave SW, Seattle). Along with a new batch of West Seattle-inspired Flower Basket earrings, we'll have a rainbow of elephant earrings and other easy Mothers' Day gift options. NOR is located in West Seattle's Morgan Junction neighborhood, which has a lively group of Art Walk sites. Bonus: the May Art Walk is held in conjunction with Muse Fest: The Power of Women's Voices, an annual celebration that will feature musical artists at 11 venues (including two just down the street from NOR.)
Spring Preview Pop-Up at Alki Arts Gallery & Event Space
Our spring preview event will be Saturday, May 18th, from 12-5 at Alki Arts (6030 California Avenue SW.) While you are there, make time to soak up the art in the May show, "Voyages" that features artists Steve Jensen, Warren Pope, Vanessa Lanza, and Joanne Shellan, who all create works that reflect their relationship with the sea and personal or historic voyages.
Summer is Just Around the Corner
We're delighted to share our summer schedule! This year we'll be at four favorites: West Seattle Summer Fest, Alki Art Fair, Proctor Arts Fest, and Coupeville Festival of Arts and Crafts. Head over to our "Find Me" page for more details.
